Society for the Anthropology of Work

SAW Welcomes New Editors, Board Members

The Society for the Anthropology of Work (SAW) is delighted to announce that a multi-institutional collective will serve as the next editors of the society’s peer-reviewed journal, the Anthropology of Work Review. The editorial collective consists of Kathleen Millar (Simon Fraser University), Josh Fisher (Western Washington University), and Alex Nading (Brown University). The new editors will serve a three-year term, which officially begins after the annual meeting of the American Anthropological Association in November 2018. SAW welcomes their efforts to expand the journal’s readership, scope, and public presence.

In the spring elections of the American Anthropological Association, SAW members also elected two new board members. Sarah Besky (Brown University) became president-elect of the section, while Lauren Hayes (University of California, Davis) will serve as the inaugural at-large member of the SAW board. Congratulations to all!
